A "jump" in the number of injured in China ... and the decision of "compulsory isolation"

The Chinese mainland has witnessed a twofold increase in new cases of coronavirus, driven by a jump in the number of infected people coming from abroad, while a number of locally transmitted cases were recorded in the daily toll of the infections.


The National Health Committee said that China witnessed 78 new cases of corona, on Monday, two times more than on Sunday, noting that 4 cases of new infections with the local SK virus.

Among the new cases, there were 74 cases of people coming from abroad, up from 39 on Sunday.

The National Health Committee, Tuesday, noted that Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province and the epicenter of the outbreak in China, reported one new case of infection, 5 days after no new cases were reported.

Three locally transmitted infections were reported in other regions of China.

Compulsory dismissal

In this context, China announced that all those arriving on its territory from abroad will be placed in a central isolation headquarters and subjected to a medical test as of March 25.

The Beijing city government also confirmed that everyone who entered the city from abroad during the past 14 days would be placed in a central isolation center and tested for Corona.
