A French teenager named Jolie has become the youngest victim of the new Corona virus, in Europe, after she died suddenly, despite her good health.
The New York Post said that a 16-year-old schoolgirl, known as Jolie, died after being infected with the Corona virus.
The girl's family told French sources that Jolie's health had deteriorated "violently", after only having a "mild" coughing attack.
And the girl’s mother said, “I can't stand it. We were leading a normal life.”
Jolie went to see a doctor last Sunday, due to a cough, but the virus escalated very quickly in the following days, to die on Tuesday.
Jolie's family confirmed that the teenage girl did not have any health problems, and her mother said: "From the beginning, they told us that the virus does not affect young people, and we believed it, like everyone else."
"We have to stop believing that the virus affects only the elderly, no one is immune from this virus," said Manon's sister, Julie.
Jolly is the smallest death case in Europe so far, according to several sources.
On Friday, French authorities said that the virus had killed 299 people in the country, bringing the number of victims to 1995.
