Ibrahimovic "launches donations to support Italy's hospitals against Corona

AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has launched a fundraising campaign to help Italian hospitals, amid the outbreak of the Corona virus.

According to the website that accepts the donations, Ibrahimovic donated 100,000 euros ($ 109,000) to the fund.

Soon the site raised another 10,300 euros ($ 11,300).

The site said that all the funds raised will be "donated directly to" Humanantas "to help strengthen the intensive care and emergency units in the hospitals of Milan, Bergamo, Castellanza and Turin."

Italy is the second country most affected by the virus, with cases of infection with the virus more than 31 thousand cases.
