France announced on Wednesday evening that all its troops had been withdrawn from Iraq until further notice due to the outbreak of the new Coronavirus (Coved 19).
Earlier On Wednesday, a spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, Abdul Karim Khalaf, announced that French forces had left Iraqi territory.
Khalaf told the Iraqi News Agency (AAP) that "French forces left Iraqi territory and an airbase was evacuated by the international coalition."
