With Corona deaths soaring, Trump is partly aided by the National Guard

US President Donald Trump has declared a medical emergency in the states affected by the Corona virus, noting that the federal authorities will use the National Guard to confront the virus, especially in the states of Washington, New York and California.

Trump told a White House press conference that he had ordered "the US Emergency Management Agency to set up 1,000 emergency beds in New York, 2,000 in California and 1,000 in Washington state."

Earlier, Trump ruled out imposing strict isolation measures on all of the country's territory for the time being.

With increasing incidence of coronavirus, Louisiana and Ohio have become the two most recent states to announce an expanded curfew to limit the spread of the virus, with nearly one in three Americans subject to staying at home.

The two states join New York, California, Illinois, Connecticut and New Jersey, which are all inhabited by nearly 100 million Americans, while the number of HIV cases reached 33 thousand cases, while the deaths amounted to at least 400 cases, according to Reuters data.

"Every piece of evidence I can put my hands on indicates that we are at a very decisive stage in this war, and what we will do now will have a major impact on the world ... what we do now will limit this attacker ... so our health care system will be She has time to treat the injured. "

Ohio recorded 351 cases of coronavirus and three deaths, while Louisiana recorded 837 cases and 20 deaths, many of them at an elderly care facility.

Louisiana Governor John Bill Edwards said his state had seen a tenfold increase in the number of cases in the past week.

Closing orders will be effective for Ohio from midnight on Monday and will remain until April 6.

Orders are in force for Louisiana at 5 pm local time and last through April 12.

The Mayor of New York, which has recorded more than a third of coronavirus cases in America, has described the spread of the virus as the largest internal crisis since the Great Depression, and called on the US military to mobilize its efforts to prevent public health system confusion.

"If we don't get more breathing devices over the next 10 days, people who die should not die," said mayor Bill de Palacio.

The Mayor’s comments came as the number of HIV infections in the most populous American city rose to 8,000 and deaths to 60.

De Blasio said that the worst was yet to come, and indicated that the city had not obtained the medical supplies it needed from the federal government to deal with the rapid spread of fatal respiratory disease (Covid-19).

"April will be much worse than March, and I fear May may be worse than April," the mayor said.

For his part, US Treasury Secretary Stephen Mnuchin said that the closure, which affects large groups of American citizens, with the aim of limiting the spread of the Corona virus, will likely last from 10 to 12 weeks or until early June.

Americans are adapting to the biggest change in daily life since World War Two in light of school closures, the canceling of sports competitions and economic turmoil amid increasing job losses as a result of the closure of institutions in many industries.

The virus has killed more than 14,000 people worldwide and infected more than 300,000.
