Turkey is investigating, on Tuesday, the first case of corona's death, while the number of confirmed cases of the disease has more than doubled to 98, from 47 the day before.
Health Minister Fakhreddin Koujah told a news conference that an 89-year-old had died after the virus was transmitted to him from a person he had mixed within China, the epicenter of the global spread of the Coronavirus.
The minister will comment that Turkey discovered 51 new cases of the virus, on Tuesday.
Earlier, Turkey announced the suspension of congregational prayers in mosques until the threat of the Coronavirus was reduced.
The Turkish official added in a speech to reporters, that the mosques will remain open to individuals.
