Tired of bad news? Here are 13 news from the Corona virus

The worrying news about the outbreak of the Corvid-19 emerging virus continues in the world so that one might be frustrated by this news, but we announce that there are many good things and that you have to look at the full portion of the cup.

Before we start with the good news, we want to confirm that our conversation is not an understatement of the seriousness of the disease or a call to belittle and not to follow the safety, quarantine or isolation measures imposed by the authorities in your country, or not to follow the guidelines for prevention and personal hygiene.

Here we present 13 good news on Corona:

1- It is estimated that 99% of people with Coronavirus will recover, and some people will not even develop symptoms.

2- Despite the deaths of thousands of people, the total death rate is about 1% or perhaps less, which is much lower than the death rate for those with the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) which was about 11%, or Ebola 90%.

Although the death rates differ from one category to another, they are at the end about 1%. For example, according to data from the Spanish Ministry of Health, the odds of dying among Corona patients between the ages of 70 and 79 are 5%, and it decreases to 2.16% among people between the ages of sixty to sixty-nine years, and to only 0.3% in the 1940s.

3- It appears that children are less infected and less ill.

4- The world is fully aware of the seriousness of the situation, and that is why countries and governments are moving seriously and resolutely to fight it.

5- Scientists have found out how the Coronavirus infects human cells, which will greatly help in developing treatments.

6- Countries of the world are racing to reach a vaccine for the Coronavirus, and the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tadros Adhanum Gebresus, announced last Wednesday what he described as a trial of solidarity, a study with the participation of several countries to analyze untested treatments in order to accelerate the search for possible treatments and drugs for the Coronavirus.

"This large international study is designed to generate the robust data we need to know about the most effective treatments," he said.

7- According to researcher Arturo Casadevale at Johns Hopkins University, antibodies can be taken from Coronavirus patients and used to protect people at risk.

8- Australian researchers are working on two drugs tested for Coronavirus, including Professor Katherine Kidzerska. They say they have determined how the body's immune system fights against the Coronavirus. The research was published in the journal Nature Medicine.

9- A Japanese drug has shown successful ineffective treatment of corona, called favipiravir, after being tested in clinical trials in Wuhan and Shenzhen in China.

10. Acting Franz Farner Hasse, head of the German company Corvac, said that tens of thousands of people infected with the Coruna virus could get the vaccine next fall, adding that, "After the progress made by the company scientists, the clinical trials of this vaccine will be launched next summer."

"If the authorities agree, we will start the production process," Haas added, adding that his company has a production capacity of two hundred million to four hundred million doses of vaccine for the Coronavirus in one year.

11- China is testing five different vaccine options against the Coronavirus, and says it could have a vaccine ready by April.

12- In Germany, the Institute of Tropical Medicine plans to use chloroquine, an anti-malarial drug, in human trials. The institute director, Peter Kremsner, said earlier this week that chloroquine appeared to be working against the emerging SK virus.

Kremsner added that a large number of Covid-19 patients were treated with chloroquine in China and Italy.

13- The US-based anti-retroviral drug, Remisevir, is passing through the final stages of clinical trials in Asia, and doctors in China said it has proven effective in fighting corona.
